Quarterly Update - since that seems to be the trend :)

So I'd love to say summer is here and things have slowed down- but that would be a lie. :)

Eric and I finished out the Spring semesters with fairly good grades- few A's few B's- lots of hard work was had by all! As we get ready for our summer schedule of courses (which are so mind droning I won't even mention) we did get to take some time for ourselves over the holiday weekend to watch his little sister graduate!! She is so sweet and amazingly smart I am blessed to call her my sister. Kristen was so overwhelmed by all of the gifts and well wishes at her party she could barely open a card without tears (we got her a laptop- you can imagine the river that ensued!)

Here is the proud Grad in all her glory (and 5in heels!- she gets that from me:)

Teak is growing big and strong (aka FAT!) she loves her peanut butter, us, the shower, and all things she's not supposed to be into. We often fight over what belongs to her and what doesn't, but she sure is cute!

I did a photo shoot at the Salt River recently and got some pretty decent pictures out of it. It was a workshop for some college majors- got a little bit of money and a nice tan from being out in the AZ sun!

Miss Teak!

So here is our baby Pugly- Teak. When we got her she was 9 weeks old and now she is quickly growing.. it makes me so sad to see her losing puppy fat and growin into her long legs! She has learned how to hurdle into the bath tub, has found her favorite place to hang out- the shelf under the coffee table and even made some new friends with Callie and Tobey at Kevin and Jenn's house.

She's a pain in the but, super hyper, and has attitude like...well like her mom! You can't help but fall in love with her. My favorite is when you wake her and pick her up- she is such a cuddle monster! She nuzzles into your neck and snores- so endearing (ha ha)

Workin for a livin!!

So you all know Eric and I are busy busy busy little worker bees! He is still working full time during the week and picked up more shifts at the bar (doing security) during the weekends, and he is finishing up another round of classes right now!

I am working full time for the University still, going to ASU (one more month! I can see the end!) and working a lot of promotions for Scottsdale Models. I also have picked up their Promotional Events Coordinator position- No I don't know why, but its fun! Some of the events I have worked lately are Arizona Bike Week and the Tempe Music Festival!

We went to Las Vegas last month for a friends wedding and had a good time, we need to plan a weekend trip to maybe Sedona or somewhere up north- take a weekend off, I think we deserve it :)

Oh we bought a baby Pug! She's about 4 months old now- she's getting so big (tear) her name is Teak and she is spoiled (of course) and just loves to love people!

I did a photo shoot last night which turned out pretty cool! Here's what I have been sent so far!

When I no longer thrill to the first snow of the season, I'll know I'm growing old. - Lady Bird Johnson

Here we are in Flagstaff for the weekend! The snow has fallend pretty heavy last night I hope to get pictures of the fresh fall- but for now you can view the adventures of Logan and I in the snow yesterday!

This is BJ, Devon (in Red) and Logan in their first adventure in the snow yesterday. The backyard of the cabin had enough to get them used to it..

The poor little guy had on so many layers to keep warm he couldn't move! Much reminiscent to A Christmas Story! After a while he got a little sleepy and he'd had enough snow for the day and crashed out.

To Be Buddah On The Mountain...

Start of a New Year, continuance of a New Life... boy life has been busy :)

We recently celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, my Birthday and after all of that Eric's Birthday (all of which I should add pictures, but I'm at work.. shhh...)

New News and Events for this year have been my contract with Scottsdale Models! I have been working promotional gigs around the Valley for liquor companies and I should begin seeing more opportunities arise. The work is part-part time but the money is good and I enjoy it!

I also started back to school at ASU this semester (I'll throw in a toke Go Devils! for all of you) I am only enrolled in 9 credits but working 45+ hours a week and going to school and keeping up with homework has proven taxing, but I'm trying my best to keep it all balanced and peaceful. (Hence remaining Buddah on the Mountain)

Eric has been working hard on School and finished his first round of courses with amazing grades (I'll say it- 2 A's and a B +) He should be finished by the end of this year with 2 certificates and closer to his degree! He is still working full time at the warehouse and on the weekends doing security

What can I say- we are quite the busy couple :)

Education is the movement from darkness to light.- Allan Bloom

Eric is finally back in school! :) He has been so excited to get the ball rolling and finish up his classes and yesterday he logged on for the first time! He is attending Rio Salado Univeristy and taking online classes towards earning his IT-Security/Networking certificates and associates degree. It's been interesting getting all of his new information together, fighting with financial aid since we got married, what my information is, etc., etc., etc., but now it is done and I couldn't be more proud of him for going back and working as hard as he does.

As for Myself, I'm hoping to go back to classes next month, but everything is so up in the air right now! Keep your fingers crossed X

Life is pure flame. -Sir Thomas Browne

Oh the joys of settling into a new home, new life, new family- and definately a new way of doing things!

The week following our wedding reception, we went off to California for our Honeymoon. We spent four days and three nights at the Disneyland Hotel, enjoyed the park, relaxed by the pool and took many long awaited naps!

Upon our return home we had many boxes to unpack and real life to go back to. Having the wedding over with is a huge relief, but also seem surreal already. Its hard to imagine all that planning we put in over the last year; and the many changes that were made- and now its done!

Our new apartment is in the East/Central part of Phoenix it's 2 bedrooms and nice to have some space of our own. We recently bought couches to fill our living space with- it was quite empty before that :)

For now we continue to fill our house with goods and love and that's more than we can ask for
